We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.
  • Qualifications and Certification – We focused on finding clinics and surgeons certified by well-known medical organizations.
  • Experience and Expertise – We looked for surgeons who have experience in performing rhinoplasty procedures, especially in cosmetic and functional procedures.
  • Surgical Techniques and Personalization—We considered surgeons who use advanced methods, create personalized treatment plans, and provide proper briefings.
  • Facility Safety – We included clinics that operate in facilities that meet high safety standards.
  • Patient Feedback and Satisfaction – We noted patient testimonials and before-and-after photos to check the track record.
  • Cost and Transparency – We chose providers who are open about their pricing, provide detailed breakdowns. Available financing options were considered as well.

On recent work-cubicle news, my coworker finally went through with the nose job she’d been saving up for. And wow—what a difference! Not just in how refined her features looked, but in the way she carried herself.

The confidence boost was undeniable, and honestly, kind of inspiring.

Naturally, this became a hot topic for days. We even got into a full-blown discussion about how rhinoplasty isn’t just about aesthetics—it can also help with breathing issues and other medical concerns. Bottom line? If you’re considering it, finding the right surgeon is crucial.

So, to make the search a little easier, we reviewed the top clinics for rhinoplasty in Ottawa to help you kickstart your journey (and maybe start saving up).

How much do rhinoplasty procedures cost in Ottawa?

Rhinoplasty in Ottawa typically costs between $9,000 and $15,000, depending on the complexity of the procedure and the surgeon’s rates.

Since it’s considered cosmetic surgery, it’s not covered by OHIP unless done for medical reasons.

We like how Ottawa Derm Centre has well-experienced rhinoplasty surgeons, Dr. James Bonaparte and Dr. Peter Brownrigg. With over 15 and 30 years of experience, respectively, they’ve encountered various cases, which helps build confidence in their skills.

Booking an appointment is also convenient, thanks to their easy online system that lets you check availability and secure a consultation after a few clicks.

The patients we talked to also mentioned how thorough and transparent the consultations are—surgeons take the time to explain every step of the procedure and use imaging to show potential results. This kind of preparation helps lessen any first-time jitters.

Their warm and welcoming atmosphere also adds to the positive experience. From the front desk staff to the surgeons, the team makes an effort to put patients at ease.

On top of that, many appreciate the bedside manners of the doctors, as they take time to answer every concern and make sure you’re comfortable throughout the process.

Just a heads up, they’re closed on weekends, which can be inconvenient if you’ve got a busy schedule.

Pros

  • Highly experienced rhinoplasty surgeons
  • Easy online booking system
  • Thorough and transparent briefing
  • Excellent bedside manners
  • Warm and welcoming front-line staff
  • Has an online derm shop

Cons

  • Closed on weekends

Friendly, warm, and welcoming

“I have been to several dermatalogical clinics over the years, but NONE as friendly, welcoming and warm as this one. From the front-line staff, to the clinicians and very surprisingly the surgeon each and every one was lovely to deal with. All procedures were explained fully, and I never felt rushed or hurried or that my questions were a nuisance. I never felt pressured to have a particular procedure – there was no hard up-sell. Each person addressed my needs accordingly. I felt at ease the entire time, and would feel comfortable having any procedure with any of the folks I dealt with. From here on in, it’s the OTTAWA DERM CENTRE for me! Well done!”

Impressed with the professionalism

“From the moment I stepped in the doors, I felt not only at ease about my procedure but impressed with the professionalism and sophistication of the clinic. Having work done by Dr Brownrigg and his surgical nurse Sarah, I felt not only cared for by exceptional ppl but that I truly mattered. I wasn’t just another number or pay check. Being told step by step of what was happening or going to happen made the procedure easier. I highly recommended Dr B and Sarah for any procedure.”

What caught our attention with Ottawa Plastic Surgery (OPS) is its impressive post-surgery care. Recovering from rhinoplasty isn’t always easy, but their 24/7 support makes a significant difference during those critical healing days.

We also noted that some patients went to OPS based on personal recommendations, which is always a good sign. The patients we chatted with also said that their results look even better than expected—exactly what you want when trusting someone with your face.

Another perk is that they can combine rhinoplasty with other procedures, like chin implants or brow lifts, making it a convenient option if you’re thinking about multiple enhancements.

It’s also neat that they offer promotions and discounts for bundled treatments, which helps take the sting out of the cost.

Speaking of costs—it’s a bummer that their rates can be slightly pricier than others. Their consultation fee is around $226 and non-refundable, compared to other places that start at around $100.

Still, if budget isn’t an issue, their level of care and expertise makes them a solid choice.

Pros

  • Impressive post-surgery care
  • Great track record and reputation
  • Can combine procedures with rhinoplasty
  • Offers promotions and discounts

Cons

  • Slightly pricier rates

Such amazing service

“I’ve always had such amazing service. Everyone from the front staff to passing staff, your greeted with a smile. I’m so grateful for the Christena for giving me my youthful look and confidence back. I no longer look tired and it feels great!”

Professional and supportive

“Amazing. Dr. Silverman and his team are so professional and supportive every step of the way. I recommend to anyone asking me where I got my work done and will continue to do so. Shoutout to the nursing and reception staff who were also very accommodating and quick to respond to emails/answer calls. Learned a lot along the way and my results speak for themselves!”

Dr. Hedyeh Javidnia’s clinic, Aesthete MD, is a great option if you’re looking for a female facial cosmetic surgeon in Ottawa. Some patients feel more comfortable with a woman performing their procedures, and others appreciate her perspective on facial aesthetics.

We love that their facility is fully accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. This means they follow strict hospital-level safety and hygiene protocols, which is reassuring when you’re going in for surgery.

The preoperative appointments here are also detailed. For instance, besides meeting with Dr. Javidnia, you’ll also be assigned a registered nurse who will go over all the little details about your surgery and recovery.

On the flip side, Dr. Javidnia is the only surgeon at the clinic, so her availability can be limited. If you’re in a hurry to get the procedure done, you might have to wait longer.

Her consultation fee is also a bit steeper than some, starting at $200 plus HST. Regardless, Aesthete MD is worth considering for rhinoplasty and other cosmetic surgeries.

Pros

  • Has an accredited facility
  • One of the only female surgeons
  • Thorough preoperative appointment

Cons

  • Has only one surgeon
  • Slightly pricier than others

Entire process was extremely thorough

“All staff at AestheteMD are of the utmost professionals. Choosing a surgeon can feel like one feat but Dr. J is the best there is and you can feel it while speaking to her, hearing how authentic and knowledgeable she is. I had a septo-rhinoplasty done in November 2023 and would recommend her clinic’s services to anyone I know. The entire process was extremely thorough and I was always able to reach nurses, post-surgery, if there was an issue.”

Informative and attentive experience

“Had one of the most informative and attentive experience here at AestheticMD. The clinic is warm and welcoming. The staff are super helpful and sets you as ease as you walk through their doors. Nurse Helen was also so helpful and attentive in her work. She is very well experienced in the work that she does and is very knowledgeable!”

New Age Medical Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery has built a strong reputation for consistent, satisfactory rhinoplasty results. Their ability to achieve the set goals while maintaining a natural look is something many patients appreciate.

The clinic’s lead surgeon, Dr. Ian MacArthur, has received multiple accolades, including being named top-rated plastic surgeon in Ottawa in 2023. His expertise is recognized internationally, too, as he’s been invited to speak at plastic surgery conferences in Canada, the U.S., and Japan.

Their financing option is also a big plus. They’ve partnered with Beautifi Financing, which allows patients to pay for their procedures in monthly installments—making it easier to move forward with surgery without the stress of paying the full cost upfront.

The only hitch? Dr. MacArthur is the sole surgeon; in other words, his availability may be limited. And they’re closed on weekends, so you’ll need to plan your appointments accordingly. But overall, their promising procedures and results make them a worthwhile option.

Pros

  • Delivers consistent satisfactory results
  • Top-rated surgeon
  • Provides financing options

Cons

  • Only one surgeon
  • Closed on weekends

Clean and inviting clinic

“I had an amazing experience at New Age Medical for my treatment! Courtney was incredibly knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming, and the clinic itself was clean and inviting. I felt at ease the entire time and I’m really happy with the results. Highly recommend New Age.”

Kanata Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery has been around for over 20 years and has performed more than 6,500 procedures (and over 300 surgeries annually). That level of experience is reassuring because it shows that people trust them with their cosmetic surgeries.

From our surveys, patients appreciate how thorough they are with pre-appointment evaluations. Before you even get to your surgery date, they make sure all necessary precautions are taken, which helps for a smoother experience.

Many patients also highlight how caring and attentive the staff is—some even shared stories about nurses staying late just to make sure they fully recovered from anesthesia before leaving.

A couple of things to keep in mind, though: their pricing isn’t readily available online, so you’ll need to inquire directly. Some patients have also reported feeling a bit pressured into considering additional procedures, which can be frustrating if you’re only interested in rhinoplasty.

Nonetheless, their impressive track record and attentive care make them a reliable option for rhinoplasty.

Pros

  • Extensive track record
  • Thorough pre-appointment evaluations
  • Attentive and excellent bedside manners

Cons

  • Rates aren’t readily available
  • Some reports of upselling

Such a welcoming place

“The entire staff at Kanata Plastic surgery were amazing. Special thanks to Colleen who is so caring and helpful! Dr Jaberi is an incredible surgeon from the minute you meet with him. He listens to exactly what you are looking for and his work is amazing. The anesthesiologist was absolutely wonderful as well as all the nurses and office staff! Such a welcoming place! Highly recommend this team! Thanks again everyone!”

“Dr. Jaberi is the doctor to see! I was always so reluctant to have cosmetic procedures done – not only did he make me feel comfortable the entire way through, but the results are truly impeccable. So natural and exactly what I asked for!! If you’re hesitating, just go for the consult and take it from there!!”
